Kasavu Princess Set

An ivory girl's set in orange fibre, with a kasavu border applied as a hem and a matching draped dupatta.

Orange fibre is pulped from juice-press waste, spun into a soft, breathable cloth. The kasavu is the fine gold thread used in Kerala saris, applied here as a quiet line at the hem.

Hand-finished in our atelier outside Kochi. Sizes 2–12. Cold hand-wash, dry flat in shade. Worldwide shipping.

Crafted for the perfect fit

Each Zouhi garment is made from a plant fibre — sugar cane, eucalyptus, corn, bamboo silk, orange fibre or organic cotton — chosen for its softness against a child's skin. Measure your child and consult the charts below. Should your child fall between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger.

How to measure

Height — Stand upright; measure from crown to floor.
Chest / Bust — Measure around the fullest part of the chest, tape held horizontal.
Waist — Measure around the natural waistline.
Hips / Seat — Measure around the fullest part of the hips.

A note on fit

Our plant fibres carry a gentle ease. If your child is between sizes, we recommend selecting the larger. Co-ordinated sets are cut for a relaxed, unhurried silhouette. Accessories are one size.

Hand-embroidered ivory cotton with a pearl-set hem. The third piece in Almost Spring, our first numbered edition. Forty pieces, each numbered by hand. Made in Kerala.

The cotton is GOTS-certified organic, woven for softness against new skin. The embroidery is set by hand, stitch by stitch, in our atelier in Kerala. The pearls along the hem are sewn individually — not glued, not machine-set — and will outlast the dress.
